SAKURA SOLID MARKER – GLOW IN THE DARK

This glow-in-the-dark version of the original solid marker is the first marker of its kind to incorporate safety-grade photo luminescent material for easy glow-in-the-dark applications.

After light exposure, marks will glow up to 30 minutes due to photo luminescent pigments. the brightness and the duration of the glow is dependent upon: the intensity of the light/energy source the mark is exposed to, the distance of the light/energy, the duration of time which the mark is exposed and the paint thickness of the mark.

Properties:

• • Marks through dust and rust, on rough and smooth surfaces, inside or outside and even in water.
  • Dries within minutes, is permanent once dry and virtually odourless.
  • Removable from non-porous surfaces with alcohol or lacquer thinner.
  • Avoid use on acidic surfaces lower than pH of 2.0.
  • Meets ASTM E2072-02 Luminance Standard.
  • Possible applications include those for: aerospace, commercial fishing boats, fire stations, mining, search & rescue, construction sites, highway construction, shipping, warehouses and safety & directional signage, basically anywhere you need to easily communicate a message in the dark.
