Parweld brings you the convenient Hand-Held Tungsten Electrode Grinder, a portable and efficient tool designed for sharpening tungsten electrodes used in TIG welding. This compact grinder allows welders to easily maintain and sharpen their tungsten electrodes on-site, ensuring optimal performance and arc quality.
A tungsten grinder is essential for TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding because it allows for precise sharpening of tungsten electrodes, which is crucial for achieving consistent and high-quality welds.
A tungsten grinder shapes the electrode tip with a consistent taper, properly ground tungsten electrodes ensure a stable and focused arc, leading to better weld penetration, reduced spatter, and longer electrode life.
Yes, by grinding the electrode to the correct shape and minimizing material removal, a tungsten grinder helps extend the life of the electrode and reduces the need for frequent replacements
Yes, grinding tungsten electrodes with a dedicated grinder can help minimize the risk of contamination in the weld pool, which can lead to weaker welds
Yes, our Tungsten Grinder is small, practical and powerful, allowing users to use on-site. This hand-held device is easy to operate and the convenient carry case offers excellent storage capabilities and mobility for the welder.

HEX Key For Grinding Disc
High-Quality Double-Sided Diamond Faced Grinding Disc, with Variable Speed, provides precision grinds on various angles, ensures extended life and prevent tungsten contamination common with workshop grinding wheels.
The grinder features an adjustable angle guide, allowing you to select the desired grind angle (Angles – 15°, 18°, 22.5° and 30°) for different welding applications.
The grinder is capable of grinding Tungsten Electrodes from sizes 1.0mm to 4.0mm in diameter.
The Length Cutting Function allows for accurate trimming of Tungsten Electrodes to the desired length. Simply align the electrode with the scale on the device. With the device powered on, the grinding wheel will cut to the marked length.
The End Dressing Function allows for meticulous shaping of the Tungsten Electrode's tip. By carefully removing excess material, this feature helps to optimize arc stability, reduce electrode wear, and improve overall welding quality.
The grinder is available with two input voltage options: the 16A 110V Plug (PWTG01-110) or the 220V Europe / 230V UK (PWTG01-230) option. The appropriate power supply plug is fitted to the device in either Europlug for European Users or UK plug for UK Users.
